Save your umbilical cord and placenta for $49/month

Bring your Anja kit to birth. We'll pick it up so you'll have access to stem cells when you need them.

I founded Anja after my brother, Andrew, passed away because he couldn't access stem cells for treatment

My parents' biggest regret was not banking his cord blood and placenta at birth, it's my mission to make this potentially life-saving option accessible to everyone

Why should I save my umbilical cord and placenta?

Umbilical cord blood is an FDA-approved treatment for 85+ diseases including numerous types of malignancies, anemias, inherited metabolic disorders and deficiencies of the immune system. Cord Blood Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC) has been used for over 30 years in medical treatment. Cord blood is rich in stem cells that can form new and healthy blood cells which could treat conditions, such as Leukemia, Lupus, Tumor, Cancer, Immune deficiencies, and more. It is the same cells found in our bone marrow, and - just like finding a bone marrow match - it is very difficult and expensive to match other people’s cells. Over the last few years, cord blood use has expanded into Autism, Cerebral Palsy, brain injuries and HIV.

These treatments’ survival rates are generally the highest when one is related to the original donor (your child). So, storing your baby’s cord blood could also benefit the whole family. There’s a 75% chance of your baby’s stem cells being a match with the baby’s siblings, and a 50% chance of matching with biological parents.

There are also 1000+ clinical trials looking at treating cancers, cardiovascular disorders, and musculoskeletal  disorders

58% (598) of all current clinical trials are in oncology, including leukemia, lymphoma, and cancers of the brain, breast, bladder, cervix, colon, esophagus, ovaries, pancreas, and others.

7% (67) are in cardiovascular disorders, including congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, critical limb ischemia, heart disease, and others.

6% (58) are in musculoskeletal disorders, including spinal muscular atrophy, osteoarthritis, muscular dystrophies, cartilage defects, and bone fractures and disorders, and others.

How Cord Tissue is used

Your baby's umbilical cord contains hematopoietic stem cells that can be stored and used for potential future treatments, including, Cerebral Palsy, Leukemias, Heart Disease, Liver. These MSC stem cells also are used in treating Heart Conditions, Stroke, Liver Disease, Parkinsons, Spinal Injury & Joint Pains, Anti-aging, etc. MSCs also can be propagated out and multiplied to larger cell numbers in order to provide more potency and the possibility of treating multiple ailments.

How Cord Tissue Changed my Son’s Life

Gage, a five-year-old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, showed remarkable improvement in his communication skills after receiving mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy from cord blood. Initially non-verbal, Gage started speaking and became very outgoing following the treatments. His mother, Renee, encourages parents to consider MSC therapy, highlighting its potential to significantly enhance their child’s abilities and quality of life.

Vision Restored by Umbilical Cord Tissue MSC

Yuliya, a mother from Ukraine, turned to stem cell therapy after her son Vladomir, born with brain damage and severe visual impairment, showed no improvement with conventional treatments. Using cord blood and tissue from her youngest child’s birth, Vladomir received mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy, resulting in dramatic improvements in his vision, motor skills, and overall quality of life. Yuliya’s experience highlights the transformative potential of cord blood banking and stem cell treatments for conditions previously considered untreatable.

How Placenta is used

The Placenta is also rich with Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) and another type of special stem cell: Placental Epithelial Cells - only found by banking the placenta - a service unique to Anja Health.

Improvement of Atrophic Acne Scar and Skin Complexity by Combination of Aqueous Human Placenta Extract and Mesenchymal Stem Cell Mesotherapy

A case report details the significant improvement of a female patient’s atrophic acne scars using a combination of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and aqueous human placenta extract (RGF®). This treatment, which included intradermal and subcutaneous injections, led to notable enhancements in skin regeneration, reducing the appearance of various scar types and improving skin elasticity and hydration within 25 days. The study underscores the potential of MSCs and placenta extract in promoting optimal outcomes for skin scar treatment and overall skin rejuvenation.

Mount Sinai Researchers Discover Placental Stem Cells That Can Regenerate the Heart After Heart Attack

Researchers at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai have discovered that Cdx2 stem cells derived from the placenta can regenerate healthy heart cells after heart attacks in animal models, as published in the May 20, 2019, issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. These cells, which were previously thought to only generate the placenta, have been shown to migrate directly to heart injuries, form new blood vessels, and regenerate cardiomyocytes without being rejected by the host immune system. This discovery paves the way for developing a new, promising human stem cell treatment for heart regeneration and potentially other organs, utilizing the readily available source of placentas.

Placental Tissue and Cord Blood Stem Cells

The human placenta and cord blood are rich sources of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which can give rise to various blood cell types and differentiate into multiple lineage cells, respectively. Cord blood banking and the use of HSCs have grown rapidly since the first successful transplants for treating genetic disorders like leukemia. MSCs from the placenta have broad differentiation potential and are being explored for regenerative medicine, including anti-aging therapies and treatments for neurological and immune disorders, offering promising prospects for addressing currently untreatable diseases.

Placenta Banking

Instead of throwing away your Placenta, Anja offers storage options. The placenta is rich with Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) and Amniotic Epithelial Cells (AECs).

These stem cells have valuable growth elements, which are potentially effective when it comes to anti-aging, limiting neural degeneration, and more.
