How can I update my payment information?

Need to update your payment information?

Simply head to your billing screen on your parent portal to update your payment method, anytime.

If you'd like confirmation that your payment method has been updated or that a payment has been processed, message one of our Anja Health Account Specialists. They'll be happy to help.

 

Forms of payment

To set up your storage payment, you’ll need to enter a credit or debit card.


We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We don’t accept prepaid cards. To learn more about gifting and adding to your baby registry, visit Anja Gifting.


Can I cancel my order?

Banking with Anja Health is a long-term commitment for your family’s future health, and while we understand things come up, terminating your contract with us will depend on when you make this decision and what plan you choose. 


As a quick breakdown:

  • If you cancel after you purchase, but before we ship you your kit, we will cancel your order and refund you in full.
  • If you cancel after we ship you your kit, but before we process your stem cells, we will refund any banking fees you may have paid at that point with one of our upfront or flex pay options; however, the initial kit fee of $199 is non-refundable.
  • If you would like to cancel after you have given birth and we have processed your stem cells, termination will depend on which plan you have chosen. 
  • For our 8-year, interest-free Pay Later (monthly) option, please speak with an Anja Specialist to get more information.
  • If you elect to choose our Flex Pay option where you pay 20% upfront, we allow for cancellations of your plan with a $199 cancellation fee.


We understand hardships come up, which is why we will approve up to a 90-day payment delay per year without incurring a late fee for any customer – no questions asked.

Can you break down the cost of stem cell banking for me?

We believe everyone should be able to afford to save their baby's stem cells because stem cells are a life-saver, not a luxury.

We offer 3 different storage plans for 20 years of storage so you can choose what fits your budget.

All that is left is picking and choosing what you would like to store. Your collection kit (including expedited shipping both ways!) is $199. Once your order is processed, your kit will be reserved. If less than 2 months it will ship out within 2-4 business days. If your due date is more than 2 months away, we will ship around 2 months before your expected delivery date. This ensures that your kit contents are fresh for collection.

 

Fees we cover:

  • The shipping cost of the kit
  • Taxes 
  • Exit
  • Interest

Bills every month (30 days) starting on the 1-month anniversary of your delivery date, if the monthly option is selected.

What if I am having twins or triplets?

We strongly encourage banking for each of your children, but there is a 75% chance of cord blood stem cells being a match to biological siblings, and identical twins are always a 100% match!

Inside the Anja Collection Kit

In your collection kit we have included:

  • Instructions for collection and a packet to inform delivery staff that you are collecting cord blood, cord tissue, and/or the placenta
  • 4 maternal sample vials (The birth mother's blood is drawn because our lab will perform an infectious disease test. It is required when considering using your baby's cord blood for research or treatment.)
  • Cord tissue cup for umbilical cord tissue collection
  • Placenta canister for placenta collection
  • A cord blood bag for cord blood collection
  • Sealable bag for cord cup
  • Zip-top bag for placenta canister to be placed in

What happens after enrollment?

We make it easy.

Here are the steps after enrollment:

  • We'll send you your kit
  • You'll complete our health information forms sent via email
  • You notify your physician that you're banking
  • Bring the kit with you to birth
  • Let an admitting nurse or midwife know about your plans to bank on your baby's exciting day
  • Your providers can use our instructions inside of the kit to you to collect properly

Who notifies my physician that I'm banking?

Physicians and nurses have to be notified in order to complete collection - we also have explanatory instructions inside of our kits for providers on the day of the baby's birth.


We recommend that you forward our provider instructions to your doula, midwife, and/or physician prior to birth for their knowledge and convenience.


How long will it take to process my order?

Orders are packed and shipped within 3-4 business days.

If your due date is more than 3 months away, we ship your order around the beginning of your 3rd trimester to ensure that all of the collection materials in your kit are fresh.


Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship out on the next business day via UPS.  Transit time is measured in business days which are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Return processing times

In the event a kit needs to be returned due to complications please reach out to your Anja Account Specialist for support.

It may take your bank 2-7 business days to post the refund to your original form of payment. Merchandise credits are typically emailed within 24 hours after processing your return.
